About the Band
The Say Goodbyes were founded in mid 2006 by Chad, Derrick, and Joel. Each member was looking for new creative outlets and they found that writing and jamming together was a very rewarding process. After several months of acoustic jamming in the cellar, around campfires, and in Joel’s home studio the trio knew it was time to take what they had to the next level. They found this in drummer Jesse. His dynamic drumming style and musical sense filled out the sound and brought the energy of the music to a new stage. Inspired and have been compared to the likes of Weezer and Matthew Good, The Say Goodbyes blend a style of music that is high energy, melodic, and still catchy.
